 Nutrition Nxt Launches ‘Parent’ Pet Food

       ·         Envisages an investment of 10 million USD (appox. Rs 84 crores) to set up a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Wargal, Hyderabad by FY 26

       ·         ‘parent’ offers wholesome pet nutrition with high-quality, science-based, digestion-friendly pet food

Hyderabad: Nutrition Nxt, a startup offering holistic solutions for pet care, announced the launch of its range of 'Parent' pet food, which offers life-stage-specific wholesome nutrition for pets. The launch marks a significant step in advancing pet nutrition, wellness, and care, reinforcing Nutrition Nxt’s commitment to setting new benchmarks in India’s growing pet care industry.

The ‘parent’ Pet Foods product line includes ‘Mother and Puppy,’ which looks after gestation and lactation for puppies up to 4 months; ‘Puppy’ gives advanced nutrition to puppies up to 18 months; parent Pet Food for ‘Adult Dogs’ is a premium, nutritionally balanced formula to provide complete maintenance nutrition for adult dogs; and lastly, parent Pet Food for ‘Senior Dogs,’ which features natural ingredients designed to provide complete and balanced nutrition for aging dogs of all breeds and sizes and is rich in pre and probiotics.

We are in the process of setting up our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, meeting the standards of the FDA at Wargal in Telangana, and should be operational by FY 2026 with a capacity to produce 40,000 Tonnes of pet food per annum with an investment of  10 million USD (appox. Rs 84 crores ) in Phase 1.” 

Dr. Venkata Dharmendra Boppana, Co-founder and Chief Mentor of Nutrition Nxt, is PhD in veterinary science with extensive experience—about 25 years of experience in research in veterinary immunology and infectious diseases—and currently operates a chain of animal hospitals in the US added, "There is an increasing trend of keeping companion pets and treating them as family members. Most pet parents in India struggle to find products that provide appropriate nutrition for their pets at different stages of their pets’ lives. With 'parent' pet food, we aim to bridge the gap by providing wholesome pet nutrition for every stage of the pet’s lifecycle in the first phase of our journey. Nutrition NXT also launched a digital pet care ecosystem with ‘PARENT360’ and ‘Provet’ applications. The digital platform PARENT360 provides a round-the-clock support system to every pet parent to extend their love and care to their loved ones. This digital app provides pet-specific nutrition and body condition analysis tools, health and vaccination records and schedulers, activity trackers, connects with veterinarians through video calls, home and clinic visits, community building, a marketplace, and an AI-powered chatbot to support pet parents 24/7.  The ‘ProVet‘digital application provides every veterinary practitioner with an integrated hospital management solution with built-in analytics and seamless connectivity with pet parents around the clock. These digital apps are available for free to all pet parents and veterinary practitioners.
