Adani Gangavaram Port & Adani Foundation organises a Free Mega Health Check-up Camp


Visakhapatnam: Adani Gangavaram Port the deepest and the most modern port in Andhra Pradesh in association with Adani Foundation conducted Free Mega Health Check-up Camps in Gangavaram, Dibbapalem & Jalari Pallipalem Villages. The free health check-up camp was attended by eminent doctors from Vizag along with the Sr. Management of Gangavaram Port. The camps were attended by more than 450 people from Gangavaram and its surrounding Villages.  The Adani Gangavaram Port completed 3 eye testing camps in November month.

 

The participants of the health camp went through a systematic process of checkups. persons were tested & treated for various ailments and consultation for men, women & children was done by the doctors and medicines & reports were distributed free of cost at the camp.  Nearly 200 people were provided with spectacles based on the ophthalmology consultation and distributed free of charge at the camp.    

 

Speaking on the occasion Adani Gangavaram Port Limited management said, “This Mega Health Check-up Camp is organized as a part of our CSR Programme to ensure the well-being of the underprivileged people from the communities in our neighbourhood. Community health & development is a core focus & this is a step towards ensuring healthcare & committed to the quality of life to the local community. This camp was organised in surrounding villages at Gangavaram. They also advised people to use toilets, safe drinking water, nutritious food and also to maintain personal hygiene for the development of Health. We aim to improve the health of the general public & such camps will help diagnose and treat the needy people.”

 

Gangavaram Port is committed towards to the development of the community and society and this camp was a step to spread the message of healthy living.
