The Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) achieves a record 9.75 Billion sq. ft of green building footprint

Announced at the Green Building Congress – IGBC’s flagship conference and exhibition on green buildings and green products CII - Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) has achieved 9.75 billion sq. ft of green building footprint spread across 8,600+ projects all over India.   Hyderabad, 21st October 2022:  Hotel and Restaurant Association of Telangana represented by President Mr. Manish Dayya and Reginald Corbett, General Secretary along with other Executive Committee members of the association met Mr. Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Tourism and Culture Secretary, Government of Telangana, and discussed the concerns faced by the sector and submitted a representation demanding industry status for the hospitality industry. Considering the rapid growth of the tourism industry in Telangana, and the scope for scaling it up further, the committee urged the government to provide all the facilities on par with industries. Visakhapatnam: Gangavaram Port celebrated the “International Day of the Girl Child” with over 120 female students at Zilla Parishad High School, Gangavaram village. This year's theme for "Day of the Girl Child" is "Digital generation." As a part of the initiative GPL conducted a drawing competition at the school for students from 7th class till inter on the theme of Digital Generation, GPL team had a discussion with the students and also awarded the winners of the competition.
