Gangavaram Port embarks on week long Yoga celebrations

Visakhapatnam: 22nd June, 2022: Gangavaram Port the deepest and the most modern port in the country embarked on a week long Yoga celebration to mark the International Yoga Day. The events included a Yoga sessions and awareness programs on physical health & mental well-being through Yoga.

Over 100 personnel participated in a Yoga Session which was led by a certified Yoga Instructor. The port management also distributed a digital edition of book on Practicing Yoga to its employees and stakeholders.

The theme of this year’s Yoga Day celebrations is ‘Yoga for Humanity’ and around 25 crore people across the world are expected to take part in various events, doing yoga in unison towards better health and wellness for all.

“Yoga is India’s gift to humanity, and it is a holistic approach to health and well-being, balancing mind, body and soul.” Spokesperson Gangavaram Port said. He also asked everyone to make Yoga a part of their daily life & experience its benefits. Through these events Gangavaram Port is taking forward the Government of India’s vision to build awareness of YOGA as a practice that brings about physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing of every individual.
