Anvayaa organize ‘Chai Pe Charcha’ for elders to voice their concerns

Launch Anvayaa Club -a platform for elders to meet, bond, share, learn and enjoy with each other

Hyderabad : June 20, 2022: AnvayaaIndia’s first and only IoT and AI tech-based 3600 personalized elderly care platform hosted a forum Anvayaa Chai Pe Charcha to discuss issues faced by elders and try to find solutions. The elder community faces several challenges such as safety, neglect by family, lack of access to proper health care and other services, financial and legal hassles, and emotional isolation. Even if the family can provide adequate support for basic requirements, sometimes it cannot provide the emotional support and time needed by eldersIn most cases, Anvayaa's technology platform along with its network of Care Managers and Care Coordinators along with over 250 vendor partners provides the ecosystem to take care of the operational requirements andprovide efficient care for seniors. However emotional isolation and loneliness need to be tackled.

There is a need to spread awareness and educate people in the community about the requirements of the elders to lead a dignified life and take cautious steps towards ensuring the same. Most of the essential requirements can be taken care of through technology-based solutions,however, the need for social interactions to beat loneliness is a challenge. The customer care team at Anvayaa began working on this issue during the pandemic and started a virtual engagement program for the members of Anvayaa to interact with others, share experiences, and have fun together from the safety of their homes. The team also curated sessions based on the suggestions of the members. Realizing the need to further reach out to the elderly community dealing with isolation and loneliness, the team launched Anvayaa Club – a virtual or physical interaction platform for elders to meet, bond with each other, share anecdoteslearn and pursue hobbies and enjoy with each other to fight loneliness and isolation.

According to Mr. Prashanth Reddy, Founder, and Managing Director Anvayaa said, “In my opinion, NOT TAKING CARE of Elders is Elder Abuse. In our community elders face several challenges like safety, neglect by family, lack of access to proper health care and other service providers, and financial and legal hassles besides emotional isolation. Some of this could happen even with families that take care of the elders. We at Anvayaa are working on a mission to make India an elder-friendly community. We are working towards creating a robust ecosystem for elder care in India and strongly feel that apart from health care and organization of basic amenities there is a need to address the emotional and other functional needs of the elders. To spread awareness about the challenges faced by elders and provide suitable solutions we organized "Chai Pe Charcha" initiative to reach out to elder residential communities & virtually. We suggested some quick solutions to make the household safe for elders.  We also explain the comprehensive solutions built by Anvayaa through its network of over 250 verified vendors that offer support, in areas of legal assistance, travel assistance, financial assistance, domestic services, health care services, Emergency Care etc. Besidesour network of Care Managers and Anvayaa Club providesemotional support to the elders.  We hope to create a robust ecosystem to help the elders live life safely and with dignity."
